First Choice complies with all federal, state, and local labor and employment laws in the states where we serve customers. We expect all our suppliers to do the same and to make sure they do not provide us with products grown or manufactured using forced labor.
Under California law, we must disclose whether we take certain steps to eliminate human trafficking and slavery from our supply chain. While we recognize the importance of such efforts and support them, First Choice currently does not:
- Verify the activities of its suppliers to evaluate and address the risks of human trafficking and slavery in our product supply chain;
- Audit suppliers to evaluate their compliance with company standards against human trafficking and slavery in supply chains;
- Require our direct suppliers to certify that the materials incorporated into their products comply with human trafficking and anti-slavery laws in the country or countries in which they do business;
- Maintain internal accountability standards and procedures for employees who fail to meet company standards on human trafficking and slavery; or
- Train employees with direct responsibility for our supply chain on human trafficking and slavery.
